Garcon ou Fille?

When we went to our ultrasound appointment we asked the doctor to put the gender in an envelope. Whatever way we decided to reveal the baby's gender I knew I wanted it documented in some way.  We were handed the envelope and of course we became too impatient to wait longer than a few hours. So we just decided to set up my camera at home to capture our reaction. Below is the special moment we found out our child was a boy or girl.

For now our little spaghetti squash is called our "fifille" (little girl)!

"Itty Bitty" Spaghetti Squash

We decided to skip posting about my growing bump the last couple weeks because we knew we had a few appointments coming up and we would have more updates after them. So this week I bring to you our little spaghetti squash at the end of my 22nd week. It seemed fitting with Thanksgiving right around the corner.

I had two appointments this past week. Both went great. One was a normal checkup with my regular doctor and the other was with a "Medicin specialiste en echographie" (doctor who specializes in ultrasounds). She spent nearly 40 minutes checking all the organs of our little spaghetti squash. We were amazed at all we could see; from the gallbladder and kidneys to the little hands and feet. We even got to see our little one suck it's thumb.

Not only were we captivated by all we could see on the ultrasound, but we also experienced another milestone in the pregnancy by finding out the sex of the baby!

....But hold your horses! You're gonna to have to wait until after Thanksgiving to hear that one! :)

We still have some family to tell and we thought Thanksgiving day would be the perfect day for that.

While you're waiting....Any votes on what it is??
